Holds a Diploma in Social Work and a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Social Work and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Guyana. Joined the faculty in the Department of Sociology in 2006. Served as Coordinator of the Diploma of Social Work and Head of the Department of Sociology. Also lectures in the Division of Social Sciences at Tain Campus.
