Department of Sociology
Holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Economics (Credit) and a graduate diploma in Development Studies from the University of Guyana; a Master of Business Administration with specialization in Public Sector Management from the University of the West Indies and a Master of Social Science degree in Development Policy and Analysis from the University of Guyana. He joined the faculty in 1993 as a Researcher. Prior to joining the university, he served as Analyst and Administrative Manager of the Cooperative Finance Administration. He currently lectures in the Department of Government and International Affairs. He has served in various administrative capacities including as Head of the Department of Government and International Affairs, Director of the Graduate School of the Social Sciences, Assistant Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. In addition to the Department of Government and International Affairs he also lectures in the Graduate School of the Social Sciences.
